Platform Login

For registered users before the platform goes live

An email from the National University of Singapore (NUS) Postgraduate by Coursework Fair 2022 (NUS PGCF 2022) Team (events@gevme.com) will be sent to you when the Virtual Fair platform goes live.
This should contain:

If you did not receive your platform login email,

  1. check if any firewall app is blocking emails,
  2. check if your email has gone to the junk folder

Chrome is the recommended browser to log into the NUS PGCF 2022 platform.
Open a new Google Chrome browser and use Incognito window to access the login page.

In the event the problem persists, please reach out to NUS PGCF 2022 Organising Committee who will be available from 4 and 5 Oct 2022, 9.00am–5.00pm, at cs.virtual@gevme.com/daniel.rose@gevme.com.

Technical Difficulties

Try a different web browser — Chrome, Safari, Firefox, Microsoft Edge, etc.

Try to reload the web page. If the problem persists, please contact NUS PGCF 2022 Organising Committee at cs.virtual@gevme.com/daniel.rose@gevme.com for assistance.

We have a contingency plan in place and will alert you if any disruptions happen.

Platform Navigation (Virtual Team)

Below are the tabs you can find in the navigation menu for the platform

Home

You can find a short description of the event and a featured video.

Programme

The Programme page will list the dates and timings of various items planned for the event, including virtual booths, Masterclasses and Information Sessions.

Speakers

Head to the Speakers page and click on a speaker to get a more in-depth profile of the individual you want to find out more about.

Visit

Go to the Visit page and click on the “Visit booth” button for the College/Faculty/School you wish to find out more about. You will be redirected to a virtual booth with a short description of the College/Faculty/School, a list of some of the key programmes it offers (including links to the programme web pages on the NUS website). Where available, you might also be able to find some downloadable files and a list of programme consultants whom you can contact to seek advice from.

Go to the Visit page and click on the College/Faculty/School offering the programme you are interested in. Where available, a list of programme consultants can be found on the page you will be redirected to. Click on an option to interact with the programme consultant of your choice. Should a list of programme consultant not be available, you can email your question(s) to pgc@nus.edu.sg.

Watch

The Watch page will host all the livestreams and video recordings.

Win

The event feedback form can be found on the Win page.

Head to the "Win page" and scroll down to the official contest form. Answer all the questions in the form, and hit the “Submit” button.

Below are the tabs you can find on the right sidebar of the platform.

Attendee Profile

Click on to "My Profile" to access and edit your profile details.

Notification

Click on the “Notification” to find out about the upcoming activities/event happenings through the announcements.

Stream Chats

Click on the “Stream Chats” to interact with other attendees who are currently online.

Participants

A green light will appear if the participant is online. Check out the Participants who are on the same page.

Your Schedule

Click on the “Schedule” to find out the status and details of your upcoming meetings.

Your Message

Click on the “Message” to view the chat history with other attendees.

Programme Consultation

For best viewing experience, it is recommended to use either Google Chrome browser with 2.0 Mbps upload speed.

1. When you are attending the meeting for the first time, you will see a pop-up message Allow “gevme.com” to use your camera and microphone? Please click Allow.
2. Make sure your internal or external speakers aren't muted.
3. Make sure you are connected to the internet with enough bandwidth.
4. To check if you have enabled the browser to use your camera and microphone, please check your browser settings:

For Chrome User
1. Open Chrome and select the Chrome menu, represented by three vertical dots in the upper-right corner.
2. Select Privacy and security. Under this section, select Site settings.
3. Select either Camera or Microphone, and make sure that the camera and microphone is allowed in site www.gevme.com

For Safari User
1. Open Safari Preferences.
2. Navigate to Websites.
3. Go to Camera and Microphone tabs.
4. Change access to Allow for www.gevme.com
5. Restart Safari.

All chat history is available under the Message tab in the event platform. Chat history is not downloadable from the event platform.

Do ensure that your background is appropriate for meetings as there will be no virtual background for all Video Calls.
